Federal Budget Brought Forward
The Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, Treasurer is set to hand down the 2022-23 Australian Federal Budget in Parliament on 29 March, earlier than usual. Being an election year, significant announcements are expected and will be a key indicator of the Coalition’s plans in the lead up to the next Federal Election.
With this being a pre-election Budget, will there be sweeteners announced for families and businesses? Does the Government believe more needs to be done to stimulate the economy in a post pandemic world? Or will it be a more measured Budget given significant deficits that have accumulated in past years?
