Grants for Round 6 Banyule Businesses are Now Open!

Our sixth round of COVID-19 business grants is now open. These grants will continue to support local businesses move online, increase their digital presence, introduce new products and/or services or seek professional advice. The program has so far supported 165 businesses from 26 different industries such as: Health and Welfare, Retail, Education, Tourism, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Hair and Beauty. Home based business and sole traders are encouraged to apply. There are two types of grants on offer for existing businesses and start ups: BUSINESS SUPPORT GRANTS OF UP TO $5,000 BUSINESS COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT GRANTS OF UP TO $2,500 There are two changes to the eligibility criteria in Round 6.
  1. Medium sized enterprises, defined as having less than 199 employees will be eligible to apply in this round.
  2. Past recipients of a minor grants i.e a Coaching and Development Grant (up to $2,500) or a Business Continuity Grant (up to $1,000) are eligible to apply for a Business Support Grant but the sum of both amounts must not exceed $5,000.
Applications close at 11:59pm Thursday 14 October 2021. The funding pool is $120,000 Announcement will be made at the end of November 2021.
